Denver Dog Academy is currently hiring for an experienced balanced dog trainer.
✨Qualifications:
- good written & verbal communication skills
- 1 yr experience as a dog trainer
- experience with remote collar training and reward based training
- is comfortable with behavior mod cases
- has a driver's license & car
✨Duties & Responsibilities:
- off-leash training
- behavior modification (anxiety & reactivity based)
- this is an in-home private session program, meaning you will be driving to client's homes & meeting in public for training sessions
✨Hours & Availability
- this is a part time position with no more than 5-10 hours a week to start, ability to grow
- this position is flexible, no specific days/times are you needed
- starting pay $20/hour
I will be holding 2-3 interviews per qualified candidate. One will be over zoom, the rest will be done in-person. Expect one interview to be working with a dog.
Interviews will be throughout July and beginning of August.
