Responsibilities
Receive material from steel mills. Handle and pull material to expedite movement of material between areas by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties -Other duties may be assigned.
- Locate and distribute materials for customer's as indicated by production order to specified areas.
- Put stock material away that has been received according to company's receiving procedures.
- Stage material on proper trailer for shipment.
- Stack and package neatly while observing any special instruction on production order.
- Double check size, quantity, color code and special instructions.
- Determine order in which production orders will be pulled, paying close attention to priority list.
- Be able to use and understand information on AS400 computer systems.
- Be proficient in crane operations.
- Inspect tools and equipment on a daily basis.
- Follow all safety and housekeeping rules.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
