QUALIFICATIONS: Training and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college or university, with major course work in Information Technology,
Business, or related area and six years of related progressively responsible experience. Experience in design
and implementation of commercial software (Oracle EB8, SAP, Maximo, GIS, laboratory information
management (LIMS), water information management (WIMS), pretreatment information management, Prolog,
etc.).
Desirable Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Business education
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT product methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing techniques and software
- Business acumen coupled with technical aptitude
- Experience working on technology and application development projects including developing technical requirements
- Strong data analysis skills, experienced in SQL and Excel
- Strong listening skills
- Strong research skills with attention to detail
- Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills; consultative approach
- Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and business case development

- Proven ability to provide business analysis to meet customer expectations

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Pursuant to MSD's "Substance Abuse Policy and Procedures," this position has been designated as non-safety
sensitive and candidate must pass a Non-D.O.T. Drug Test for this position. Employees occupying this
position are not subject to Federal (D.O.T.) Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations.
Employees of MSD must have a meets expectations.
