Job Summary:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist residents in developing, recovering, and maintaining activities of daily living and functional skills. The COTA provides therapeutic interventions, documents resident progress, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, effective nursing care per care plans and physician orders
Administer medications and treatments accurately
Assess residents and report changes promptly
Document care in the EMR
Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs
Ensure infection control and safety compliance
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
