Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller with an accounting background and experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions and supporting financial reporting processes. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the accounts payable/receivable processes using QuickBooks.
- Process and make deposits, use bill pay, and cut checks to vendors
- Manage credit cards, set up new employees, audit statements and create bill pay.
- Manage payroll processing
- Process and maintain 401k for employees
- Manage insurance needs, COI’’s, Auto, Liability, Property, and Workers' Compensation
- Creating invoice for Contractors as needed
- Prepare pre-liens information for contracts
Other Duties
- Assist in tax preparation by providing relevant financial data and documentation.
- Prepare and participate in the General Liability yearly audit
- Renew business license and vehicle registrations
- Prepare new hire packets and set up new employees in payroll and 401k
- Maintain communications and P&Ls to our outside accountant
- Asist as needed in entering invoice from suppliers into QuickBooks
- Asist as needed in answering phone calls and distribute mail
Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Plumbing, construction, or similar environment a plus
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Experience managing payroll systems like ADP or Insperity along with benefits administration is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
