Position: Full-Time Maintenance Technician
Location: Palm Beach
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of a beachside condominium community. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of general maintenance skills, take pride in their work, and provide prompt, courteous service to residents while helping maintain the property's appearance and functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform light electrical repairs, including replacing switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
- Perform light plumbing repairs, including replacing faucets, toilets, valves, and repairing minor leaks.
- Complete drywall and sheetrock repairs, patching, sanding, and preparing surfaces for painting.
- Perform basic painting and touch-up work as needed.
- Assist with preventive maintenance throughout the property.
- Inspect common areas and report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with maintaining building equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down for meetings or community events when needed.
- Respond to maintenance-related emergencies as directed.
- Perform other maintenance duties and special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in building maintenance, apartment, condominium, hotel, or commercial property maintenance preferred.
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repair techniques preferred.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in South Florida's heat and humidity.

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and plays an important role in maintaining the safety, appearance, and overall condition of the condominium community. Candidates should be dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing quality workmanship while helping ensure a clean, attractive, and well-maintained property.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
