We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated special education teacher to join our team (Grade 5) at Clinton Middle School. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting diverse needs and has experience implementing effective strategies to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This role involves working collaboratively with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure each students academic, social, and emotional growth and that students meet their potential.Responsibilities: Assists in the development of IEPS and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique needsProvide direct instruction in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills using evidence-based practicesAbility to implement effective classroom management strategiesCollaborate with the general education teacher and implement a co-taught model when applicableCollect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly to meet students needsCollaborate with related service providers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent and effective supportCreate a structured, nurturing classroom environment that promotes student independence and successParticipate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiativesEnsures confidentiality of privileged informationConducts appropriate special education assessments to determine eligibility for special education servicesPerforms other related duties as assigned by the Principal
