Job Summary:
Troubleshoot, repair, perform preventative maintenance, modify, and install electrical drives and controls, power distribution systems, pneumatic instrumentation, and mechanical systems in a safe manner.
Duties:
- Electrical Work: Troubleshoot AC/DC drives, calibrate PID loops, and work with Programmable Logic Controllers like Allen-Bradley 5, 500, 5000, and MicroLogix.
- Mechanical Care: Repair or replace motors, pneumatic control panels, and heavy machine parts using precision tools.
- Preventative Upkeep: Complete scheduled work orders, log equipment data into the computerized maintenance system, and run safety audits.
- Downtime Control: Monitor machine health and train operators on routine process care techniques to prevent unexpected line stops.
Pay Rate: $18-$22 hr
