We are proud to be a doctor-owned practice. We are looking for a Licensed Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care to join our talented surgery team.
The Licensed Dental Assistant position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position at 36 hours per week. You will work in our Woodbury and Cottage Grove offices. The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7:20-4:30, Thursday from 7:20-11:30, and Friday from 7:20-4:00.
At The Oral Surgery Center, the Licensed Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support during oral surgical procedures. The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist oral surgeon during surgical procedures.
- Provide patient care (greet, educate, obtain and record medical history, prep for surgery, monitor patient during surgery, recovery, etc.)
- Procedure tray set up, sterilization, and equipment maintenance.
- Imaging (X-ray, conebeam, intraoral scanning)
A valid Minnesota Dental Assistant License is required. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but is not required. We will provide training. In addition, we provide continuing education, including but not limited to an in-house DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) course, Anesthesia Review course, IV Certification course, and annual CPR renewal course.

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
- oral surgery assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
