American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 5 years of high-risk L&D experience and prior travel experience.

Work in the OB/GYN unit providing L&D, OB, and newborn care
-
Unit includes 12 postpartum rooms, 4 swing/antepartum rooms, 5 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, and 2 operating rooms

High-risk patient population
-
Patient ratios: 1:3 on Labor and Delivery, 1:3 antepartum, and 1:6 mother/baby couplet
-
Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
-
Uses Alaris pumps, epidural pumps, and PAS lower extremity pumps
-
12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend (Fri/Sat) required
-
Call rotation required with potential 4-hour mandation block as needed

Active RN license (CT or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS

Fetal monitoring certification preferred but not required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery required

Prior OB experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn care areas

May be included in the unit's rotation pool for additional hours as needed to ensure coverage

Scrubs are provided by the unit
