Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. Duties
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
- Keep track of inventory movements and update records
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging products for delivery or transfer
- Maintain accurate inventory levels
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards for domestic and international shipments
- Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas for easy retrieval and replenishment
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant devices in a warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management and inventory management
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions
- Basic math skills for counting items, calculating weights/volumes, and verifying quantities during order picking or packing
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and coordinate tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Customer service orientation to support internal teams and external partners with professionalism
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including stocking, order fulfillment, load & unload procedures, and packaging techniques
