Experienced Remodeling Technician / Carpenter – 7+ Years Experience
Flo Home Improvement Pros is looking for an experienced, dependable Remodeling Technician / Carpenter to join our team.
We are a busy home improvement and remodeling company working on residential renovation projects throughout Brooklyn and Queens. We are looking for someone who is truly well-rounded in the trades and can be trusted to complete work professionally without needing constant supervision.
What We're Looking For
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 7 years of verifiable hands-on construction/remodeling experience
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
- Their own basic hand tools
- Strong carpentry and general remodeling skills
- Experience with drywall installation and repair
- Spackling, sanding, and painting
- Trim, molding, baseboard, and door installation
- Flooring installation
- Tile work (able to install floor and wall tiles)
- Plumbing knowledge (able to install drains, p-traps, toilets, sinks, shower body, etc.)
- Electrical knowledge (able to install outlets, light switches, ceiling fans, 240v breakers etc)
- Demolition and framing
- Ability to measure, cut, install, and finish work accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as with a crew
- Ability to keep a clean and organized jobsite
- Good communication and professional attitude
Very Important
We are not looking for someone who only has experience in one trade. We need a true all-around remodeling professional who is comfortable handling different phases of residential renovation work.
You should be able to look at a task, understand what needs to be done, and complete it correctly and professionally.
Reliability is extremely important. We need someone who shows up on time, communicates, takes pride in their work, and can be counted on by the rest of the team.

Requirements
7+ years professional remodeling/construction experience required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required. Employee must be able to travel to and between jobsites throughout Brooklyn and Queens as needed.
Basic hand tools required.
References and previous employment/work experience must be verifiable.
