We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Hospice Billing Specialist-Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations, billing processes, compliance activities, and communication across the organization.
Position Summary
The Hospice Billing Specialist-Administrative Assistant provides administrative, clerical, customer service, billing, and operational support to the hospice leadership team. This position serves as a central point of communication for patients, families, facilities, vendors, employees, and referral sources while assisting with daily office operations, compliance, reporting, and special projects.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, professional, comfortable working with multiple priorities, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative, office, customer service, or healthcare office experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred
- Hospice experience
- Experience in one of the following settings: Home health, medical office, medical billing, physician office, hospital, skilled nursing, or assisted living

Schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
