Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual child development needs
- Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and tailor instructional strategies accordingly
- Engage in active communication with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's progress and address any concerns
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including lesson planning, activity setup, and transition management for toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of incidents and developmental milestones
- Maintain current certifications such as First Aid and CPR to ensure safety at all times
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is essential
- Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment
- Experience developing curriculum content across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and childhood development instruction
- Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members
- Familiarity with standardized testing processes and assessment tools used in early childhood settings
- Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young learners is an advantage
- Background in Montessori or other specialized early childhood educational philosophies is preferred
