Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints to create a flawless surface ready for painting or finishing
- Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to achieve an even finish, eliminating imperfections and blemishes
- Install drywall accessories such as corner beads, trims, and moldings with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform repairs on water damage or mold remediation issues by replacing or restoring affected drywall sections

Skills
- Extensive experience in drywall finishing and related trades such as plastering, taping, sanding, and texture application
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project timelines
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other finishing equipment
- Experience in the restoration industry including water damage restoration and mold remediation techniques
- Knowledge of safety standards on construction sites including proper caulking techniques and scaffold use
