Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a mechanic's mindset and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of all HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Recommend system upgrades when needed
- Conduct repairs on appliances related to HVAC systems.
- Weld components as necessary for system repairs or modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all operations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to build and repair various systems.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC/R are highly desirable.

Who we're Looking For
- EPA Certified (Type II or Universal)
- 2+ years residential HVAC experience preferred
- Clean driving record and background
- Can climb into attics, lift 50+ lbs, and work solo with confidence
- Strong communicator who takes pride in workmanship
