About the Role:
Business Development is responsible for generating referrals across the state of FL by building, qualifying, and nurturing relationships with prospective referral partners, distributing screening tools and other collateral, acting as the first line of education for new partners, and promoting our care model. It is preferred that the BD will have a deep understanding and familiarity of the FL healthcare market, which may include experience working with primary care, healthcare systems, home health agencies, and other provider partners.
Remote/Travel:
Our company is a hybrid remote and in person organization. However, this role requires local/state-wide travel on occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline of new accounts using web research and professional networking.
- Use a variety of outbound and inside sales strategies, including face-to-face field sales calls as well as large scale phone call and email prospecting campaigns. Also utilizing LinkedIn, and other networking opportunities as necessary.
- Outreach, qualify, and nurture potential partners, including setting intro meetings and conducting qualifying calls when necessary
- Educate prospective partners on our unique set of screening tools, referral processes, and clinical care model
- Track and report all sales activities into the company’s marketing sheet and set performance metrics
- Manage leads from referral sources and ensures efficient admissions process for clients.
- Educate patients, families, community and other referral sources on programs and services provided within facility.
- Coordinate the completion of the admission process.
- Travel frequently within community, scheduling meetings and developing contacts/referral sources.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year sales or business development experience
- Healthcare sales, particularly generating provider referrals is a plus
- Track record of success meeting quotas and achieving KPIs
- Established network of contacts within the territory
- Experience with and competency in office productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Suite and Slack.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
