Door County Montessori is seeking a part-time Assistant Teacher to join our growing preschool community.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 24 hours per week
Pay
- Starting at $17/hour (higher based on experience)
What You'll Do
- Support children ages 3–6 in a Montessori classroom
- Assist with outdoor learning, art, lunch, and daily routines
- Help prepare classroom materials
- Maintain a clean, organized environment
- Work alongside our lead Montessori teacher to create a joyful, respectful classroom
- Fill in for Lead Teacher upon her absence
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Kind, patient, and dependable
- Loves spending time with young children
- Calm, positive, and eager to learn
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and enjoy time outdoors in all seasons
- Previous childcare or education experience is a plus, but not required
