Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Lead/Driver/Mover to join our team and help facilitate smooth, efficient moving and delivery operations. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who enjoy physical activity, customer interaction, and driving. As a key member of our team, you will lead moving projects, operate various types of commercial vehicles, and ensure the safe handling and transportation of goods. Your enthusiasm and dedication will directly contribute to providing exceptional service to our clients while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
- Lead moving crews to efficiently load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, and other items with precision and care
- Safely operate box trucks, cargo vans, or other commercial vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions on scheduled routes
- Load and unload items using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries or moves
- Plan and follow optimized routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Assist in warehouse organization by managing inventory, preparing items for transport, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and proper functioning of equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or mover with a strong focus on customer service
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Physical strength for heavy lifting, loading, and unloading items safely
- Knowledge of route planning, load securing, and transportation safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude toward customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
