Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and personable client communication
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, including booking, modifying, and canceling reservations
- Handle guest inquiries efficiently via multi-line phone systems and in person, providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring all details are accurately recorded in the front desk system
- Address guest concerns promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, escalating issues when necessary to maintain guest satisfaction
- Support night audit operations by reconciling accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and respond effectively to any incidents or emergencies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
- Experience with night audit processes and resort operations is a plus
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios and effective client communication techniques
