AA Decon is seeking a dedicated new crew member ready to tackle the challenges of Illicit substance and hazardous materials mitigation!
In this vital role, you'll work on residential and commercial properties in need of decontamination, abatement, and mitigation. One of your primary responsibilities will be the decontamination of homes directly impacted by meth and fentanyl contamination.
This is a full-time position Monday through Thursday, 10 hours a day. All work is strictly regulated by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH), the Department of Labor and Industries, Northwest Clean Air Agency, and other regulating bodies so that the work we do is done right; every time.
The hours required by this position will increase as your training is completed. You will also be dual trained as an asbestos certified worker; so you can participate on every project.

Training and Compensation:

- Required Certifications & Training *Paid for by us!
- 40 hr HAZWOPER
- Clandestine Drug Lab (CDL) Cleanup Certificate
- Washington State Department of Health Certification
- Respirator Fit testing (PPE will be provided) *Paid for by us!
- Full Face Respirator
- PAPR
- Physical Screening *Paid for by us!
- Whatcom Occupational Health or Care Medical Group
- Probationary Period: After initial training, you'll complete 2 months of full time work at $25/hour.
- Performance Review: If we decide that you’re a good fit your pay will increase to $27.50/hour.
- Additional Opportunities: From time to time, there will be opportunities for prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon wage work; though not guaranteed.
