About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout while ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can successfully manage multiple projects, and has a proven track record of delivering HVAC projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HVAC projects from pre-construction through project completion and turnover.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, consultants, and inspectors.
- Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company quality standards.
- Track project costs, forecast budgets, and support successful financial performance.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC project management experience.
- Experience managing commercial HVAC projects, preferably in New York City or similar metropolitan markets.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction practices, mechanical drawings, and installation methods.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
- OSHA, SST, EPA, or other relevant industry certifications are considered an asset.
