Job Title:
Maintenance Assistant
Job Duties:
· Cleaning restrooms, windows, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying trash bins, etc.
· Opening and closing.
· Campus cleanliness - (Outdoors and Indoors).
· Grounds Keeping - (Pulling weeds, pressure washing, leaf blowing, etc.)
· Minor repairs.
· Room Set Ups - Setting up and taking down tables and chairs. Setting up for events and special holidays.
· Stocking items – (kitchen supplies, office supplies, janitorial supplies, etc.)
· Keeping storage areas clean and orderly.
· Staying alert for suspicious activity.
· Reporting safety concerns.
· Helping with interments and funerals.
· Helping direct volunteers and security officers.
Requirements:
· Must be willing to undergo a background check.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
· Must be able to work some nights, most holidays, and weekends.
· Must arrive on-site to work.
· Must be willing to learn.
· Must work well in a team setting.
· Must be able to carry themself respectfully and reverently.
· Must be able to follow instructions.
· Must be able to handle constructive criticism well and take accountability.
· Must be willing to be on call at times.
Hours and Compensation:
· Full Time (35 – 40+ hours per week).
· Pay is dependent on work ethic and qualifications.
