Overview
Join our dynamic mental health team in a role open to Licensed Therapists/Social Workers (LISW | LPCC | LSW), pre-licensure clinicians completing supervised hours toward independent licensure, and MSW students seeking internship/practicum placement. Whatever stage you're at in your clinical career, you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations, working alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to build (or apply) your clinical expertise, foster meaningful client relationships, and make a positive impact on individuals' lives. Depending on licensure status, you will provide or assist with evidence-based psychotherapy, conduct assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans within outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth settings. Our team is dedicated to creating a supportive environment that promotes growth, healing, and resilience for all clients — and for the clinicians who serve them.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We welcome applicants at any of the following stages:
- Independently Licensed Clinicians (LISW, LPCC) who can practice and supervise without restriction.
- Pre-Licensure Clinicians (LSW or counselor trainee) who are working toward independent licensure (LISW or LPCC) and need to accrue supervised clinical hours — AMAVI provides regular clinical supervision toward this goal.
- MSW Practicum/Internship Students currently enrolled in a CSWE-accredited program who need to complete internship or field placement hours under the direct supervision of our LISW-S.
Responsibilities and level of independence will be scaled appropriately to your licensure or training status, with all clinical work supervised in accordance with Ohio law and AMAVI policy.
