Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Design and execute dynamic lesson plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating curriculum development principles and literacy education strategies.
- Lead classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, early intervention techniques, and physical development aligned with childhood development standards.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and childcare standards are maintained.
- Implement Montessori or other specialized pedagogical approaches to enhance learning experiences for toddlers.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental milestones and inform instructional adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child progress reports, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing requirements.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood education settings, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged students.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within daycare or private school environments.
- Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Experience in literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and implementing Montessori or similar educational philosophies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare best practices.
- Prior experience working in daycare centers or private schools is highly desirable to ensure seamless integration into our educational community.
