We are seeking full time infant/ toddler teachers in Jersey City, NJ.
You will be responsible for implementing our infant/toddler curriculum that promotes social, emotional and physical development in each child.
Job Description:
**Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants
**Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow
**Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child
**Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
**Monitor and assess infants developmental progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
**Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
Implement early intervention strategies for children with special needs or behavioral challenges
Qualifications:
**Previous experience working with infants/toddler is a preferred- 3 years
**Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
**Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
**Ability to effectively manage behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Preferred Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
