Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team. We are looking to hire a part-time, night time cleaner for our Mon-Thursday shifts. Each cleaner alternates cleaning days with one or two other cleaners, providing approximately 10-15 cleaning shifts per month. Cleaners would also cover shifts for each other as needed. Cleaning would start around closing (midnight each night) or before opening (before 6am each morning). Cleaning normally takes approx. 1 hr to 1.5 hrs per cleaning shift. Pay is $22 per cleaning shift (not hourly). Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required. Weekend shifts (Sat and Sun) also require a midday spot check cleaning for 20-30 min for $10 per cleaning. The ability to be on call for spills or messes is preferred, but not required.
Duties:
- Emptying dryer lint traps and garbages
- Wiping down washers, tables, and chairs
- Cleaning the bathroom
- Sweeping and mopping the floors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and regulations
