Responsible for reviewing academic records of student-athletes and documenting compliance with progress-toward-degree and other NCAA, Big Ten, and institutional academic eligibility rules in support of the Assistant Registrar and overall eligibility certification process. Remains familiar with curricular requirements across the University’s Colleges and uses Degree Audit and other reporting software to maintain NCAA eligibility database and projections of future eligibility considerations. Supports Husker Academics counseling staff and frequently handles individual questions from counselors to ensure both UNL degree progress and satisfaction of NCAA and Big Ten academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes. Generates, evaluates, and distributes daily enrollment reporting for academic status and enrollment changes. Serves as a member of AEC (Academics, Eligibility, Compliance) Committee alongside Athletics staff. Act on behalf of Assistant Registrar of Athletic Certification in cases of absence, while maintaining absolute confidentiality with highly sensitive student-athlete information.

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience working in academic administration, student affairs, enrollment management, academic advising, or organizational administration required; equivalent education/experience considered.
- Previous employment experience working with academic program requirements
- Ability to analyze information obtained from reports, student systems, and statistics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create clear and precise documentation required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Previous employment experience at an NCAA member institution, with eligibility certification and/or advising
- Strong analytical thinking to assess situations
- Ability to self-manage
- Excellent time management with ability to prioritize tasks and projects
- Experience with analytical tools.
Posted Salary
$52,000/yr. minimum
