Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our wellness and aesthetic practice. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Your energetic approach will help foster trust and confidence, making every patient feel valued and cared for. You will coordinate between patients, medical staff, uphold health regulation policies, and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality. Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments efficiently using electronic health records (EHR) and patient management software, ensuring accurate scheduling and documentation
- Serve as the first point of contact via phone and client communication channels, providing friendly, professional assistance to patients and visitors
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as cleaning equipment, assist in procedures, manage inventory
- Utilize medical terminology accurately to communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients
- Support the documentation process by typing reports, updating electronic health records (EHR), and managing medical records with precision
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow, follow-up appointments, and treatment plans
- The ideal candidate will have excellent phlebotomy +/- IV skills and knowledge of wellness ( nutrition, personal training, peptides, etc..)
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office setting with familiarity in office procedures and administrative support
- Proficiency in Computer applications (Internet, Google docs, EMR)
- Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance)
- Experience with medical administrative tasks such as patient check-in/out and appointment scheduling
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Strong customer service skills combined with excellent phone communication abilities
- Ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail
- Bilingual skills are a plus
