High-Income Opportunity | Experienced Buyer Wanted
Honda of Indian Trail is seeking an experienced Used Car Buyer to join our growing pre-owned operation. We are looking for a proven automotive professional with strong acquisition skills, especially someone with experience sourcing and purchasing SUVs and trucks.
This is a high-impact role for a buyer who understands the market, knows how to find the right inventory, and can consistently acquire vehicles that meet our customers’ demands and profitability goals.
Performance Expectations:
- Acquire 75–100 vehicles per month
- Source quality used inventory through multiple channels
- Develop expertise in domestic truck acquisition and market values
- Evaluate vehicles accurately and make smart purchasing decisions
- Maintain a strong pipeline of inventory opportunities
- Work closely with the Used Car Manager to meet inventory goals and turn requirements
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Used Car Buyer, Appraiser, or Used Car Manager
- Strong knowledge of vehicle values, market trends, and inventory demand
- Experience acquiring domestic trucks required
- Ability to negotiate purchases and maximize dealership profitability
- Strong understanding of appraisals, recon costs, and retail potential
- Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented
