Job Summary
The Cedric Frazier Experience Brand is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to help lead daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality, cleanliness, consistency, and team performance. The Kitchen Supervisor will support food production, guide kitchen staff, monitor service flow, uphold sanitation standards, and help create a professional and positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen team members during prep, service, and closing duties.
Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation expectations.
Support line cooking, prep, and production as needed.
Monitor kitchen cleanliness, organization, food safety, and sanitation.
Assist with inventory, ordering needs, stock rotation, and waste control.
Train and coach team members on procedures, standards, and expectations.
Maintain communication between kitchen staff, management, and event/service teams.
Help manage timing, execution, and quality during busy service periods.
Ensure equipment, supplies, and workstations are properly maintained.
Report staffing, safety, inventory, or operational concerns to leadership.
Qualifications
Previous kitchen leadership, lead cook, sous chef, or supervisor experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations, and service standards.
Ability to lead a team with professionalism and accountability.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Food Handler Certification required or willingness to obtain; Food Manager Certification preferred.
