Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain recommended services clearly, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and more
- Prepare detailed estimates using estimating software and communicate costs effectively to customers
- Upsell additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle safety and performance while respecting customer budgets
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Maintain accurate service records, process cash handling transactions, and manage service write-ups
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
Skills
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to clients of all backgrounds
- Experience or interest in automotive diagnostics, auto repair is a plus
- Knowledge of auto service management practices including oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, and shocks & struts
- Sales skills with a focus on upselling additional services while maintaining integrity
- Cash handling experience and comfort working with estimating and service management software
