Summary:
The primary function of this position is to tear down of transfer cases.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Receives direction from team lead on priority teardowns.

Remove internal bearings, and gears and discard them appropriately.

Work with the builders/drivetrain technicians to identify units that need to be torn down.

Stage removed parts for wash and blast.
- Wash and blast components and cases
-
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly disposing of worn parts
-
Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop
Requirements:
Qualifications:

Basic automotive or mechanical skills

Familiarity and/or use of power tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
