Dental Hygienist Full or Part Time
Our dynamic private practice seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist for a full and/or part time position.
Proficiency in dental software and a deep sense of care for your patients is necessary.
In this rewarding position you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services and educate patients about maintaining their dental health and wellness for a lifetime.
Monday- Thursday schedule.

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental x-ray equipment, ensuring proper technique and patient safety
- Conduct patient assessments by measuring vital signs, reviewing medical history, and evaluating oral health status
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health
- Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and assisting during restorative or pediatric dentistry procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
- Follow infection prevention protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage dental equipment maintenance, sterilization processes, and inventory of supplies to uphold clinical standards
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental radiography
- Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings, demonstrating proficiency in patient care and dental procedures
- Familiarity with EHR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and medical coding
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance
- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency during procedures
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on dental health topics
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment that emphasizes infection prevention management and medical records accuracy

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
