Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to inspire young learners during their critical early developmental years. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your leadership will foster growth in social-emotional skills, early literacy, and foundational classroom routines. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored for two-year-olds
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while maintaining high standards of child welfare and safety
- Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism
- Utilize behavior management strategies to guide positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges effectively
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences
- Incorporate specialized techniques such as Montessori methods or other early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs including children with special education requirements
- Plan engaging lessons that integrate physical education, arts, music, and play-based activities to foster holistic development in toddlers
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to two-year-olds and early childhood education best practices
- Experience with curriculum development focused on literacy education, math skills, and overall classroom management
- Proven ability to work effectively with children in daycare or preschool settings, including those requiring special education or early intervention services
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and specialists in child welfare or therapy services
- Classroom experience with toddler care routines such as diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with standardized testing or assessment tools used to monitor developmental progress in early learners
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical education and promote motor skill development while ensuring a safe environment
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies suitable for preschool-aged children

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
