Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Assembly Technician to join our team in
Knoxville, TN. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies to create finished products in our fully air-conditioned manufacturing facility. You’ll work with manual and power tools, follow technical blueprints, and ensure every unit meets our quality standards as you build the most advanced process chillers on the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Assemble parts and units according to technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Tool Operation: Safely use hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, pneumatic drivers & rivet guns).
- Quality Control: Inspect components and finished products for defects or misalignments to ensure high-quality output.
- Maintenance: Keep workstations clean and organized; perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Skills & Competencies
- Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small parts.
- Physical Ability: Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Communication: Ability to read and interpret English-language manuals and instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Brazing Experience: Previous experience with brazing or soldering techniques.
- Electrical Expertise: Familiarity with wiring, electrical panels, and reading electrical schematics.
- Technical Background: Prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment.
- Forklift Operation: Prior experience operating electric forklift, and walk behind pallet mover
