About the Role
As an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator, you will serve as a vital on-site representative, ensuring that complex infrastructure projects maintain the highest standards of worker protection. By acting as a proactive safety coach rather than an enforcer, you will drive a culture of prevention and operational excellence in high-stakes construction environments.
Responsibilities-
Oversee daily site operations to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

Conduct thorough hazard risk assessments and develop safe method working statements to mitigate project risks.

Facilitate root cause analysis following any incidents to drive continuous improvement in site safety.

Act as the primary liaison between the owner and the general contractor, providing clear and concise safety reporting.

Manage digital documentation, including daily logs and weekly time tracking, utilizing modern project management software.

Promote a collaborative safety culture by mentoring field teams on best practices and hazard awareness.

Monitor high-voltage work environments to ensure all electrical safety standards are met.

Implement and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems, including LOTO procedures.
Qualifications

Extensive experience in mission-critical construction or large-scale data center projects.

Deep understanding of OSHA 500/510 standards and NFPA 70E requirements.

Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and hazard risk assessments.

Strong interpersonal skills with a coaching-oriented approach to safety management.

Proficiency in digital reporting tools and technical documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.

BCSP CHST certification.

Demonstrated competency in ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 management systems.
