We are FedEx contractor and family owned business seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while adhering to traffic and safety regulations. This will involve driving a 12ft box truck similar to a uhaul and will NOT require a CDL. Paid training is available as well as benefits. You will be given a small load of packages to deliver within a very limited zip code in the south hills area. Therefore, the delivery addresses are very congested which allows for you to finish your day earlier than most drivers and do other things in your spare time.
Duties
- Load and unload cargo from the vehicle
- Safely transport products to customer locations
- Use company provided GPS and Scanner device to auto Plan delivery routes efficiently
- Operate delivery vehicles such as vans or trucks
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

- PAY RATE: Regarding pay, it is NOT by the hour which is what’s great about it. It is by the load. We pay $160 per 120 stops which takes about 4 hours then $1 per stop above that. It’s bank and almost 1.5 to 2 x what amazon pays if you broke it down hourly.
- Requirements and Hiring Process: must be 21 years of age or older with no felonies in the last 10 years. Medical Marijuana Cards not accepted. Must pass a drug test and DOT physical.
- Hiring Process: You will receive an email from Federal Express Corporation ("FedEx") please click the link in the email and fill out the application takes about 15-20 mins. THIS APPLICATION IS SEPARATE FROM THE INDEED APPLICATION. Please allow 48-72 hours for the application to be processed. In the meantime, after you fill out the application, You will receive another email from Fedex with a barcode in the email and a listed clinic name and address that you must go to to take your DOT drug test and physical examination at no charge to you, you must go to the clinic named in the email and you must show the nurse or doctor there the barcode in the email. The barcode is good for only five days from the date you receive the email. So please be on the lookout. This medical examination will not take more than 30 minutes. Once you complete the medical examination also text me your availability so that we can schedule your paid training which will take place at the fedex terminal at 2702 Neville Road in Neville Island, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Training will be 2 to 3 days and will start at 9 AM. After your paid training, you can start immediately.
