Pay: $700-$900 per week base salary (DOE) + uncapped commissions

Schedule: 40 hours per week, including at least one weekend day
Location: Oak Brook, IL with local travel to retail and event locations within approximately 30 miles

We represent national brands in the technology, telecommunications, renewable energy, and home security industries. Our team works directly with consumers at retail locations, promotional events, and community outreach campaigns to educate customers, generate interest, and acquire new customers for our clients.
This is a face-to-face customer acquisition position. It is not a remote position, door-to-door sales position, or call center role.
Compensation
- W2 employment
- Weekly base salary of $700-$900 per week, based on experience and qualifications
- Uncapped commission opportunities based on individual performance

What You'll Do
As an Entry-Level Sales & Marketing Representative, you will represent client products and services directly to customers in person. Daily responsibilities include:
- Working at assigned retail locations, events, and promotional campaigns
- Educating customers about technology, telecommunications, renewable energy, and home security products and services
- Approaching and engaging prospective customers face-to-face
- Answering customer questions regarding products, pricing, and promotions
- Generating leads and acquiring new customers for client programs
- Processing customer enrollments and applications when applicable
- Maintaining product knowledge and staying current on promotions
- Meeting individual sales and customer acquisition goals
- Completing required reporting and administrative tasks
- Traveling locally between Oak Brook and assigned campaign locations within approximately 30 miles
Work Environment
This position is performed primarily in person at:
- Retail stores
- Big-box retail partner locations
- Event marketing locations
- Promotional kiosks
- Community outreach events
Employees should expect to spend the majority of their workday standing, walking, interacting with customers, and working directly with the public.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day
- Reliable transportation for local travel within the Oak Brook area
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurant, fundraising, marketing, telecommunications, energy, or home security experience is helpful but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
