- Able to perform the physical work yourself at a high level
WHAT THIS ROLE REALLY IS
This is a high-performance role that combines sales, technical expertise, and hands-on execution. You'll diagnose problems, provide solutions, and perform the repairs and installations you recommend.
You will:
- Walk into homes where customers already need service (NOT a door-to-door sales job)
- Diagnose the problem
- Present options confidently
- Close the job on the spot
- Then complete the physical work yourself
If you can’t confidently do all five, you won’t succeed here.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Close
- Build trust fast with homeowners
- Clearly explain problems, options, and pricing
- Confidently ask for the sale and handle objections
- Maximize every opportunity without being pushy
Execute
- Replace springs, motors, rollers, and full systems
- Install openers, keypads, and wiring
- Ensure every job is done right the first time
- Perform maintenance and repair work on residential garage door systems
- Complete a thorough 35-point inspection during each service visit
- Diagnose issues and recommend effective repair solutions
- Use hand tools to repair or replace worn, damaged, or broken components
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at every job site
Deliver
- Create a 5-star customer experience on every job
- Generate repeat and referral business
- Represent Paradise Garage Door as a professional subject matter expert, not just a technician
WHAT YOU’LL GET

WHAT WE’LL ASK YOU
Be ready to talk about:
- Your close rate
- Your sales process in the home
- Specific examples of how you handled objections
- Your customer reviews / 5-star feedback
What We Require
- Valid driver’s license (3+ years driving record)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, and work in varying temperatures.
- Willingness to undergo criminal background check and drug test (THC excluded).
- Basic comfort with navigation apps, Google tools, tablets, and software.
- Reading and basic math skills for measurements and payments.
We are a growing family-owned company, not a large corporate organization.
Because of that, we currently do not offer employer-sponsored health insurance or retirement plans.
As we continue to grow, we are focused on providing a positive workplace and competitive compensation. While employer-sponsored health insurance is not currently offered, affordable coverage may be available through the Health Insurance Marketplace, depending on your individual circumstances.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
