Job Summary
Fast-growing water damage restoration company is seeking a career-minded, motivated AHERA-certified individual to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with asbestos awareness/abatement experience who is looking to grow within the restoration industry.
The successful candidate will assist with asbestos-related projects associated with water damage, demolition, and restoration work while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current AHERA certification required
- Previous asbestos, environmental, demolition, or restoration experience preferred
- Knowledge of asbestos regulations and safe work practices
- Ability to properly document work and maintain accurate records
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in residential and commercial environments
- Must be dependable, professional, and willing to learn
Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos-related inspections, sampling, or project duties within the scope of certification
- Assist with asbestos-related restoration and demolition projects
- Follow all applicable OSHA, EPA, AHERA, and company safety requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and job records
- Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and other contractors
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide professional customer service while working in occupied properties
