OPEN POSITIONS:
Inside Sales Support / Lead Generation
Join our dynamic sales team and become a vital driver of growth for our 1,500+ acre, family-owned nursery. You'll identify, engage, and qualify potential customers through outbound calling and warm outreach — genuine, curious conversations, not high-pressure sales tactics. A great entry point into inside sales, with growth potential into our Sales Team and other areas of the company.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers, using warm and curious techniques to generate leads and nurture relationships
- Qualify potential customers and identify sales opportunities that align with their needs
- Collaborate with the inside sales team using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales automation tools
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and lead status in the CRM
- Engage potential buyers to learn about their operation, ordering interests, and business objectives
Preferred: strong English communication skills, comfort with outbound calling, basic computer/email skills; CRM familiarity a plus. Base pay: $16.80/hour + bonus for customer conversion.
Inside Sales & Customer Service
Be a core part of a tight-knit team driving one of the most progressive wholesale nurseries in the country. You'll build relationships with wholesale customers, process orders, and help solve problems before they start.
- Communicate with wholesale customers to answer questions, take orders, and provide timely updates
- Build relationships with nurseries, garden centers, and landscape professionals across the U.S. and Canada
- Help process orders and coordinate with fulfillment and shipping teams for accurate, on-time delivery
- Collaborate with inventory and production teams to keep plant availability accurate
- Handle follow-ups on quotes, sample requests, and project bids; some trade show/customer-visit travel
Preferred: nursery/agriculture or sales/customer service experience, MS Office proficiency, strong communication; Spanish a plus, $45-70k/yr.
Office Admin
A highly computer-based role handling daily office operations — order entry, customer service, shipping coordination assistance, and general clerical duties — for a hard-working team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Order entry and review
- Answer phones and direct calls accordingly
- Customer service — answering questions, preventing miscommunication, resolving concerns
- Assist the shipping coordinator with organizing shipping logistics
- Review and understand internal reports for inventory data
Preferred: customer service skills, intermediate Excel, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task; will train the right personality. $25-30/hr.
Wholesale Nursery Propagation Manager
Lead the greenhouse propagation program — the foundation of our operation — using seed, tissue culture tip cuttings, and hardwood cuttings. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach. Location: Gresham, Oregon. Full-Time.
- Manage and oversee all propagation activities: seed, tissue culture tip cuttings, and hardwood cuttings
- Develop and execute propagation schedules aligned with production goals
- Monitor and optimize greenhouse environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, irrigation, light)
- Supervise, train, and lead propagation staff
- Maintain quality control standards and implement integrated pest management (IPM) practices
Required: 10+ years hands-on wholesale nursery propagation experience, 5+ years in a lead/management role; bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus. Relocation allowance provided. $80-100k/yr.
