We are a privately owned, patient-centered dental practice looking for a friendly, skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Our office is owned by Dr. Hung, who believes that exceptional patient care starts with great communication and teamwork. Now, we're looking for a Hygienist to help complete our dental family!
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and periodontal assessments.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and individualized home-care recommendations.
- Accurately document clinical findings, treatment recommendations, and patient communications.
- Assist in diagnosing and monitoring periodontal conditions.
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate closely with Dr. Hung and the dental team to provide outstanding patient care.
- Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately.
- Support a positive, team-oriented office culture and assist where needed.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Dental Hygienist license.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, periodontal therapy, and preventive dentistry.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborate and support coworkers.
- Experience with dental software and electronic charting is preferred.
