We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Line Cook to prepare exceptional seafood dishes with precision and artistry. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items to exacting standards, focusing on seafood dishes, sauces, and garnishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during high-volume periods.
- Assist in menu development, including daily specials, under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
- Completion of prep sheets and protein inventory on a nightly basis.
- Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and ensure proper storage of fresh ingredients.
- Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to quality, presentation, and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-end or fine dining restaurant, with seafood experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, poaching, and sous-vide.
- Familiarity with preparing and handling fresh seafood, including fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary school degree or equivalent training is a plus.
