Job Description: Seeking a detail-oriented and licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and accurate preparation, verification, and dispensing of medications, while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify and dispense medications according to prescriptions.
- Oversee sterile compounding processes and maintain compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use and answer any questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program.
- Required Licenses: Florida, Louisiana, and Illinois pharmacist licenses
- Preferred Additional Licenses: Iowa, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee, Nebraska, Kentucky, and Virginia
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding and pharmacy regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
