Admissions Manager Overview: Join NorthStar Regional as an Admissions Manager and lead our dedicated Admissions Department in a fast-paced corporate call center environment. As the Admissions Manager, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of individuals by managing high-volume referral screenings, admissions scheduling, and client preparations for entry into our essential co-occurring mental health, substance use disorder, and withdrawal management programs.

Success in this role is defined by maintaining strong census occupancy, reducing admission-to-intake turnaround time, and building a team that consistently delivers compassionate, client-centered care from the very first call.
Admissions Manager Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Staff Development
- Drive departmental excellence by cultivating a workplace culture rooted in our Mission, Vision, and Values .
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate Admissions staff, ensuring they are prepared to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Lead the recruitment and training process, fostering a high-performing team focused on client care.
2. Admissions Operations & Efficiency
- Oversee daily admissions operations, including timely referral screenings, scheduling, and census management.
- Develop and maintain efficient admissions tracking systems to optimize occupancy and client flow through the continuum of care.
- Coordinate transportation resources for incoming admissions, eliminating barriers to entry for clients.
3. Process Improvement & Strategic Growth
- Utilize data analysis and metrics to enhance departmental workflows, improving operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders on strategic initiatives to expand community impact and service offerings.
4. Building Relationships & Exceptional Service
- Act as a liaison to cultivate strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, clients, and families.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction aligns with our commitment to quality and compassion.
- Collaborates with Marketing and Business Development teams on outreach initiatives, referral development, and community engagement efforts
- Attends conferences, networking events, outreach activities, and community meetings as needed to support organizational growth and referral relationships
5. Compliance & Professional Standards
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and state-specific guidelines, while leading the admissions team in compliance training.
- Uphold high ethical standards, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality in all client and staff interactions.

Admissions Manager Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; preferred fields include business, healthcare, or behavioral health.
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within admissions, call center environments, or healthcare operations, preferably in behavioral health.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and operational reporting tools with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration.

Admissions Manager Physical Requirements: The role may involve various physical demands, including sitting, standing, and occasional travel. This role is fully onsite and without a formal hybrid or remote option.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
