Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations as needed
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate billing and cash handling
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostess roles or related positions is highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
