A leading edge, medical device manufacturer is looking for a motivated, hardworking Toolmaker capable of building precision plastic injection molds.
The company offers extensive experience in the deployment of enabling medical devices. They specialize in surgical illumination products and solutions. Devices are manufactured in an FDA GMP compliant facility with ISO 13485-2003 Certification.
Their employees are experts in medical device design, development, manufacturing and commercialization. They manufacture, test, package and sterilize devices in quantities needed. The team has over 100 years of combined medical device manufacturing experience and the team has collectively developed and commercialized over 150 medical devices.
Tool & Die Maker
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Qualifications and Skills 1+ years’ experience as a tool maker or mold maker.
- Experience with Master CAM computer software.
- Interpretation of manufacturing plans, prints and or CAD data.
- Identification and application of appropriate fixtures and tooling.
- Troubleshoot part quality and function.
- Complete mold assembly and verify fit and operation.
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments including toolmaker’s scope, dial indicators, gage blocks, calipers and micrometers.
- Communicate with co-workers & project leaders to receive instructions and coordinate activities. Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
