Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working knowledge of cannabis
- Continued education after initial training period.
- Up to date on all state laws, regulations, carrying/purchase limits
- Follow all required company policies and procedures.
- Always carry a physical copy of your Marijuana Handlers Permit from the OLCC
- Greet and acknowledge each customer in a friendly, professional manner as they enter & exit the store.
- Verify ID and age before proceeding.
- Attend to the customer and help in their process of finding & buying a suitable product.
- Be knowledgeable and deliver useful product knowledge.
- Be a team player and actively contribute to a positive work environment.
- Stay busy between customers; ask where help is needed, find cleaning projects, etc.
- Maintain a clean sales floor and organized displays at all times.
- Responsible for facing all cash in the till and ensuring proper cash drawer protocol is being upheld.
- Fulfilling online Dutchie orders for customer pickup.
- Notify Shift Leads or Manager to restock quick-pulls and/or shake out a flower display jar.
- Properly ring up products using barcode scanners.
- Complete all projects as assigned.
- Be fully present and available on the sales floor during your shift.
- Communicate potential problems and issues to your Shift Leads, and/or Manager.
- Complete any opening and closing duties assigned.
- Always thank the customer for coming in!
