Essential Functions: Maintenance diesel engines on all vessels and equipment operated by FICA. Perform preventive maintenance on all Marine machinery.
Responsibilities:

Performs preventive and routine maintenance on all vessels and any other marine related equipment.

Follow preventive procedures ordered by the manager or foreman.

Perform in house repairs on main engines, generators, electrical, hydraulic and air systems.

Report repairs needed or unusual findings to immediate supervisor

Present professional attire at all times

Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance, repairs and observations

Follows preventive maintenance procedures

Comply with all Fisher Island standards, policies and procedures.

Communicate (read, write, speak) professionally.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Maintain working areas clean.

High School Diploma preferred
-
Minimum of 1 year experience with marine diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Good communication skills (speak, read, write English)

Ability to multitask and work a flexible schedule

Valid Driver License

Neat appearance.
